Our Philosophy
AVC was formed in 2006 to provide off-season play and skill development for area girls. In 2023, AVC LLC became the Acers Volleyball Foundation, Inc. - a non-profit dedicated to expanding volleyball access in our communities. Besides volleyball skills, our coaching staff will also teach and emphasize leadership, sportsmanship and teamwork as essential skills for volleyball and life. If you are going to play for a regional club, you will not get more experienced coaches or more value for your money than you will with AVC. We consider ourselves to be one big volleyball family and would love to have you be a part of it!
Girls in age groups 15-18 (see our tryouts page for age definitions) are invited to tryout for a spot on one of our teams. We practice twice a week in Oregon and play 6 tournaments, January through March. We try to keep travel 2 hours or under to minimize travel costs on players and families. Volleyball has and always will be our passion, but we want the girls to be able to play the game they enjoy while maintaining a healthy balance of volleyball, family, school and other activities. Our alumni have gone on to play D1, D2, D3, and junior college ball. They have also become coaches, officials, and lifetime volleyball players. I'm very proud of what we do for the players as a club.
Teams will be formed based on the number of participants and their age and skill level. There is usually only one team per grade level.

Instructional Programs
Our youth instructional league offers an opportunity for current 3rd through 6th graders to learn the basic skills of volleyball. The emphasis will be on skill development, scrimmage play, and fun! This program runs for six weeks beginning in September. The fee is $150 and includes a t-shirt.
Our middle school instructional league is for 7th and 8th graders. We focus on skill improvement and game play to prepare athletes for high school level volleyball. The program runs in January and February and includes scrimmages with other local teams. The fee is $250 and includes a t-shirt.
